Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to join our safety-conscious team in Wooster, OH. The route runs Wooster to IN, OH, IL with about 60 hours per week.

Annual earnings potential is up to $120k with weekly earnings around $2,400. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available and weekly overtime is offered. Health benefits, 401(k), PTO, and training are provided after a brief eligibility period.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Minimum 3 months of tanker experience.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the top priority by following safe work practices.
• Operates tractor trailer tanker units.
• Adheres to weights and proper unit utilization.
• Loads and unloads hazardous/non-hazardous waste properly.
• Secures loads securely.
• Places placards per DOT and company requirements.
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports.

Clean Harbors is looking for a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team in Wooster, OH ! This route runs from Wooster, OH to IN, OH and IL and averages 60 hours per week.

Annual earning potential $120k

Weekly earning potential $2400

Per diem (if applicable)

$7,500 sign-on-bonus available

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer tanker units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste;
• Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Minimum 3 months of tanker experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to climb and work from heights
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
