Job summary

Clean Harbors in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to join a safety‑conscious team. The route covers Cleveland, IN, OH, and IL, averaging about 60 hours per week with potential for overtime and a $7,500 sign‑on bonus.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• 3 months tanker experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Ensures health and safety are the top priority while adhering to all policies.
• Operates tractor trailer tanker units.
• Complies with weight limits and proper unit utilization.
• Loads and unloads hazardous and non-hazardous waste safely.
• Secures loads properly and follows DOT regulations (placarding).
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspections.

Clean Harbors is looking for a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team in Cleveland, OH! This route runs from Cleveland, OH to IN, OH and IL and averages 60 hours per week.

• Annual earning potential $120k
• Weekly earning potential $2400
• Per diem (if applicable)
• $7,500 sign-on-bonus available

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer tanker units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste
• Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Minimum 3 months of tanker experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to climb and work from heights
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
