Job summary

Responsibilities include safe driving, DOT-compliant logs, and efficient route planning to meet on-time delivery goals. Requires Hazmat endorsement and 30+ months experience.

Qualifications

• Hazmat endorsement required or must obtain within 120 days of hire.
• Minimum 30 months of Class A tractor/trailer driving in the last 3 years.
• No more than two moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
• No preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must live within 250 miles of the assigned facility or willing to relocate within 250 miles within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Walmart’s high standards of safety, integrity, and professionalism every mile.
• Plan your day, set priorities, and work with your team to keep freight moving safely and on time.
• Handle all required paperwork and electronic logs accurately and follow DOT/state/company guidelines.
• Safely operate your tractor-trailer, inspecting it before, during, and after each trip.
• Run optimized routes by following traffic laws and local restrictions to reduce delays and improve on-time delivery.
