Job summary

Sacramento Native American Health Center, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Driver with a Class A CDL to operate a variety of heavy trucks in outdoor environments, delivering materials and supporting fleet operations on demanding jobsites.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain DOT logs, ensure loads are secured, and comply with safety regulations. A valid CDL-A, clean driving record, and ability to travel up to 30% are required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required with recent heavy-truck driving experience.
• Experience with diverse truck types (dump, tractor-trailer, straight truck, low bed).
• Ability to complete daily DOT logs and perform pre/post-trip inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy trucks with gross weight up to 100,000 lbs on outdoor jobsites.
• Complete timecards, logs, and ELD in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure safety standards.
• Secure loads, meet delivery deadlines, and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Report hazards and maintain good housekeeping on the job site.
