Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Sacramento is seeking a CDL Driver & Delivery Helper to safely operate a commercial vehicle, load/unload building materials, and deliver with exceptional customer service.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain records, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations. Ability to lift 80–100 lbs and work outdoors is required. Competitive hourly wage with overtime eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL and a clear three-year MVR.
• Minimum Class B license; Class A preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ability to perform vehicle checks.
• Boom or crane experience required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects and ensure safe operation.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loads.
• Safely load/deliver building materials to job sites.
• Prepare the truck for the following day and maintain equipment.
• Maintain mandatory records for regulatory compliance.
• Report accidents and adhere to safety policies.
• Lift heavy materials up to 80–100 lbs for loading/unloading.
• Navigate routes to assigned job sites and coordinate with customers.
• Provide excellent customer service with a professional demeanor.
