Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Sacramento, CA is seeking a CDL Driver & Delivery Helper to safely operate a commercial vehicle, load/unload building materials, and deliver on time while providing world-class customer service.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain accurate records, and comply with DOT regulations. The role requires a valid CDL, Class B license, and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Overtime and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Minimum Class B License, Class A strongly preferred.
• Must have a clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Must have overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
• Boom or Crane experience required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order.
• Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck.
• Safely deliver and unload materials to an assigned area as directed by the customer.
• Prepare the truck for the following day and maintain the truck and the equipment.
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Must report all accidents involving driver or company equipment.
