As a Channel Account Manager within Samsung’s Enterprise Business Division, you will be responsible for growing Samsung’s revenue and market share in Canada through your named Partner accounts. You will be experienced in managing channel/partner accounts and you will have a proven track record in revenue growth, market development and demand generation in a channel model. Working knowledge of the Canadian Audio Visual, Digital Signage and IT Channel Markets is an asset.

To be successful in this position you will need to be able to influence the strategic direction and Samsung commitments with your Channel Partners and their Sales, Service, and Technical Staff. You will have strong sales management, business development, and communication skills. You should have the passion to drive change and performance through your partners, enable your partners to sell Samsung technology solutions, and strive to over-achieve revenue objectives.

Role and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify, recruit, enable and manage the growth of new channel partners and AV consultants.
  • Formulate “Win-Win” go-to-market models that leverages expertise of Samsung and your partners.
  • Negotiate agreements with channel partners and end users.
  • Develop targeted marketing and sales plans with channel partners in order to drive business KPIs and build pipeline.
  • Responsible for Product launches and training within Channel Partners.
  • Support selling activities of Channel Partners.
  • Demonstrate Samsung portfolio in partner and industry events and customer calls.
  • Responsible for Salesforce.com and forecast accuracy.
  • Represent Samsung Electronics Canada, Inc. in any public or private events designed to create demand and awareness for the entire IT product line up and all related products.
  • Any other duties as assigned by management designed to strengthen Samsung’s IT business with corporate accounts and other private and public sector business customers.
  • Successfully complete in a timely manner at any certifications as mandated by HQ.

Skills and Qualifications

Education:

  • Post-secondary education (CEGEP or University degree) and/or relevant work experience is preferred.

Knowledge:

  • Ability to identify, recruit, train, and motivate channel partners and consultants.
  • Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and sales management skills.
  • Strong writing skills. Able to translate technology features into compelling customer benefits.
  • Able to demonstrate technology solutions to medium/large commercial and enterprise IT organizations at a senior level.
  • A self-motivated, go-and-get approach and the will to win.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to interact comfortably with a wide range of levels in organizations: from senior executives to support staff within and outside of the company.
  • Must be self-managed and capable of self-directed work given only broad objectives and limited direct supervision.
  • Must be capable of planning, organizing and prioritizing multiple and simultaneous projects and assignments.

Experience:

  • Deep understanding and experience working with Audio Visual, Digital Signage and IT partners.
  • A proven track record of 5 years plus sales and channel development experience.
  • Professional sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Industry experience and knowledge in Digital Signage, Hotel TV, LED, and Desktop Monitors.
