Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Region CFO to oversee all financial operations of the divisions within the region and partner with the Region President.

This role focuses on strengthening internal controls, driving regional profitability, and ensuring strong financial management across multiple divisions. Ideal candidates have a Master’s degree and 8–10 years of related experience, with the ability to travel overnight and lead accounting teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent required plus 8–10 years of related experience.
• Strong leadership of accounting teams and finance operations.
• Proficiency with MS Office and corporate accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations of divisions within the region.
• Partner with Region President to set expectations and drive performance.
• Develop and mentor regional CFOs and Controllers in accounting policies.
• Attend audits and ensure timely follow-up actions.
• Monitor regional margins, SG&A, and inventory levels; drive improvements.
• Manage capital allocation and land deals within regional plans.
• Travel overnight as required to support divisions.
