Walmart in Sterling, IL is seeking Regional Truck Driver (Class A CDL) to join our private fleet. You will plan daily routes, maintain safety standards, and deliver on-time freight while earning up to $110,000 in your first year.

This full-time role offers predictable schedules, 40-hour weeks, and comprehensive benefits starting day one, including PTO, 401K match, and health plans. Requires Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 120 days and 2.5 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Interstate (Class A) CDL with Hazmat endorsement (or able to obtain within 120 days).
• Minimum 30 months (2.5 years) of full-time Class A tractor/trailer experience in prior 36 months.
• No more than two moving violations in last 3 years.
• No serious traffic violations in last 3 years.
• No preventable accidents in last 3 years.
• Willing to live within 250 miles of the facility or relocate within 250 miles by 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Plan the day, set priorities, and coordinate with team to keep freight moving safely and on time.
• Communicate clearly, resolve issues, and adapt to road or plan changes.
• Handle required paperwork and logs adhering to DOT and company guidelines.
• Safely operate tractor-trailer and inspect vehicle before/during/after trips.
• Run optimized routes by obeying traffic laws and local restrictions to reduce delays.
• Uphold Walmart’s safety, integrity, and professionalism on every mile.
