Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking drivers to join our regional trucking team in the United States. You will plan daily routes, communicate with the team, and ensure on-time freight movement while adhering to DOT and company guidelines.

You will safely operate the tractor-trailer, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and handle all required paperwork and electronic logs. We offer competitive benefits and home-time options.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 30 months (2.5 years) experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the last 3 years.
• Hazmat endorsement with cleared background check or willingness to obtain within 120 days.
• No more than two moving violations in the last 3 years; no serious violations; no preventable accidents.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily routes and coordinate with team to keep freight moving safely and on time.
• Handle all required paperwork and electronic logs accurately; follow DOT, state, and company guidelines.
• Safely operate tractor-trailer; inspect vehicle before, during, and after trips to keep it in top condition.
• Execute optimized routes while complying with traffic laws and local restrictions to improve on-time delivery.
