Job summary

Steel and Pipe Supply is seeking CDL-A Regional Flatbed Drivers to haul steel products from the Jonesburg, Missouri facility. You do not have to live in Jonesburg; routes may originate from Columbia, St. Louis, or nearby areas with secure parking.

Regional position offering strong earning potential and home time. Typically 1–2 nights away weekly, with some routes up to 5 nights. DOT compliance and safety are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety standards
• Ability to safely secure flatbed loads using chains and straps
• Ability to tarp loads as required
• Ability to safely handle the physical demands associated with flatbed driving
• Commitment to Safety, Accountability, Integrity, and Responsibility

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor/trailer equipment
• Secure loads using chains, straps, and other approved securement devices
• Tarp and protect loads when required
• Complete shipping and delivery paperwork accurately and on time
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety requirements
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain HOS, DVIRs, proof of deliveries, fuel receipts, and other required records
• Communicate with supervisors, sales, customers, and our transportation network
• Promptly report accidents, incidents, equipment concerns, and safety issues
• Help ensure cargo arrives safely and securely at its destination
