Job summary

Steel and Pipe Supply – Jonesburg, MO is hiring CDL-A Regional Flatbed Drivers to haul steel products from our Jonesburg facility. You do not have to live in Jonesburg; base in Columbia, St. Louis, or nearby areas with access to secure parking.

This regional role offers strong earning potential and home time. Typical schedule includes 1–2 nights away per week, with up to 5 nights on some routes. Sign-on bonus up to $3,000 and weekly pay features highlight the position.

Qualifications

• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety standards.
• Ability to safely secure flatbed loads using chains and straps.
• Ability to tarp loads as required.
• Ability to safely handle the physical demands associated with flatbed driving.
• Commitment to Safety, Accountability, Integrity, and Responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor/trailer equipment.
• Secure loads using chains, straps, and other approved securement devices.
• Tarp and protect loads when required.
• Complete shipping and delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety requirements.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain HOS, DVIRs, proof of deliveries, fuel receipts, and other required records.
• Communicate with supervisors, sales, customers, and our transportation network.
• Promptly report accidents, incidents, equipment concerns, and safety issues.
• Help ensure cargo arrives safely and securely at its destination.
