Job summary

Steel and Pipe Supply is hiring CDL-A Regional Flatbed Drivers to haul steel products from our Jonesburg, Missouri facility. You do not have to live in Jonesburg; drivers may be based in Columbia, St. Louis, or surrounding areas with access to secure truck parking.

This regional role offers home time on weekends and earnings potential, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus and a minimum weekly pay of $1,480 for qualifying drivers. Top earners reach $90,000+ per year.

Qualifications

• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety standards.
• Ability to securely load flatbeds using chains and straps.
• Ability to tarp loads as required.
• Ability to safely handle the physical demands of flatbed driving.
• Commitment to Safety, Accountability, Integrity, and Responsibility.
• Preferred: 2 years of CDL driving experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of flatbed experience.
• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor/trailer equipment.
• Secure loads using chains, straps, and other approved securement devices.
• Tarp and protect loads when required.
• Complete shipping and delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety requirements.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain logs and records (HOS, DVIRs, PODs, fuel receipts).
• Communicate with supervisors, sales, customers, and our transportation network.
• Promptly report accidents, incidents, equipment concerns, and safety issues.
• Help ensure cargo arrives safely and securely at its destination.
