Job summary

Steel and Pipe Supply in Jonesburg, Missouri is hiring CDL-A Regional Flatbed Drivers to haul steel products from our Jonesburg facility. You do not have to live in Jonesburg; routes originate in Columbia or St. Louis with access to secure parking.

This regional role offers home weekends and typical 1–2 nights away each week, with up to 5 nights on some routes. Pay includes $0.60/mile, $17.30/stop, $17.30/hour for delays, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus ($1,500 after 30 days, $1,500 after 60 days).

Qualifications

• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety standards.
• Ability to securely tarp and strap flatbed loads.
• Ability to safely handle the physical demands of flatbed driving.
• Commitment to Safety, Accountability, Integrity and Responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor/trailer and transport steel products.
• Secure loads with chains, straps and other approved devices.
• Tarp and protect loads when required and complete paperwork.
• Follow DOT rules and company safety requirements; perform inspections.
