Job summary

United Pipe & Steel Corp. is seeking a safety-focused Regional CDL A Flatbed Driver to deliver products on time and with excellent service from Rialto, CA. The role involves regionally traveling with sleeper cab availability, typically 2–4 nights on the road, and a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record; no DUI/DWI convictions in the past ten years; no more than three violations occurring in the last 3 years.
• Minimum of one year of verifiable commercial driving experience, with flatbed experience preferred.
• Able to pass random drug tests and a pre-employment physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A flatbed commercial vehicle.
• Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain assigned equipment and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow all applicable DOT regulations and federal, state, and local requirements regarding hours of service, vehicle operation, and inspections.
• Properly secure and maintain loads throughout transport.
• Complete scheduled deliveries and communicate anticipated delays.
• Verify the count and condition of delivered materials and complete required delivery documentation.
• Represent United Pipe & Steel professionally while providing a consistently high level of customer service.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a safety-focused, dependable Regional CDL A Flatbed Driver to join our team. Our regional drivers play an important role in delivering our products safely and on time while providing excellent service to our customers.
This is a full-time position offering steady, year-round work. Regional drivers typically spend 2-4 nights per week on the road in a sleeper cab. We offer a $50 per diem / per night as well as an excellent schedule of Monday-Friday.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Physical Requirements
• Physical position, involving heavy lifting (~50 lbs.).
• Ability to climb on and off flatbed trailers, re-strapping or tarping product as needed.
• Able to pass random drug tests.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical exam.

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Regional drivers typically spend 2-4 nights per week on the road; overtime may be required based on business needs.
