Job summary

United Pipe & Steel Corp. is hiring a Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator at our Rialto, CA location. The role runs Monday to Friday with a 6:00am - 2:30pm shift, occasional Saturday overtime.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

We're looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to join our team. If you have forklift or warehouse experience, take pride in working safely, and enjoy being part of a team that keeps products moving, we'd like to hear from you!

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position with a schedule of 6:00am - 2:30pm with 30-minute lunch break and overtime may occur for operational requirements including Saturday.

What You'll Do

• Load and unload pipe and tube products from flatbed trucks.
• Operate a sit-down forklift to safely move heavy inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing products and report damaged or defective material.
• Band, wrap, and secure products for shipment.
• Help maintain accurate inventory and assist with order accuracy and track-and-trace issues.
• Complete daily forklift safety inspections and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Keep warehouse and work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Follow all United Pipe & Steel safety policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to complete daily workloads.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

1. Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment.
2. Sit-down forklift experience preferred.
3. A strong commitment to workplace safety and dependable attendance.
4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
5. Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
6. Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly reach, bend, push, pull, and safely lift up to 50 pounds.
7. Ability and willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
8. Ability to meet applicable pre-employment requirements for the position.
9. Hourly pay rate based on experience + Overtime when needed
