Job summary

Join NIS EXPRESS’s professional flatbed team, hauling steel, pipe, and coils on regional and OTR routes. You’ll operate modern, take‑home trucks with consistent freight, top pay, and guaranteed weekend home time.

Compensation includes weekly earnings of $1,500–$2,000+ (27% of gross per load), a $5,000 sign‑on bonus, and weekly direct deposit. Benefits after 30 days cover medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 12 months (1 year) of verifiable flatbed experience within the last 5 years (regional or OTR).
• Experience securing and hauling steel, pipe, or coils; coil experience a major plus.
• Proficient with straps, tarps, chains, and binders (~40–50% of loads require tarping).
• Clean MVR (≤3 moving violations in 3 years); no recent DOT violations or safety-related terminations.

Responsibilities

• Operate flatbed tractor-trailer on regional and OTR routes.
• Secure cargo using tarps, straps, chains, and binders.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

Join a professional flatbed team running regional and OTR routes, hauling steel, pipe, and coils. We provide modern equipment, consistent freight, top pay, and guaranteed weekend home time.

Compensation & Pay

• Gross Earnings: $1,500 – $2,000+ weekly (Paid at 27% of gross per load)
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 Total Sign-On Bonus
  • $1,500 paid on your very first Friday paycheck (after first delivery)
  • $3,500 paid in milestones
• Per Diem: $300/week (non-taxed)
• Target Mileage: 2,300 – 2,800 miles per week
• Pay Schedule: Weekly direct deposit every Friday
• Additional Pay & Bonuses:
  • Tarp Pay: $40 per tarped load
  • Layover Pay: $50 after 24 hours
  • Detention Pay: $16/hour (starts after 2 hours)
  • Safety, breakdown, and clean DOT inspection bonuses

Driver Requirements

• Age: Minimum 22 years old
• Experience: 12 months (1 year) of verifiable flatbed experience within the last 5 years (regional or OTR)
• Cargo Experience: Proven experience securing and hauling steel, pipe, or coils (coil experience is a major plus)
• Securement Skills: Proficient with straps, tarps, chains, and binders (~40–50% of loads require tarping)
• Driving Record: Clean MVR (≤3 moving violations in 3 years); no recent DOT violations, preventable accidents, or safety-related terminations
• Background & History:
  • NO DUI/DWI in the past 5 years
  • Zero Clearinghouse violations (No SAP drivers)
• Drug Testing: Must pass a pre-employment urine drug screen
