Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Driver to support regional routes in the Portland, OR area. You will handle tractor-trailer and straight truck deliveries, follow DOT regulations, and ensure on-time loading and unloading at customer sites.

The role includes night scheduling (11 PM–3 AM starts), a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and training pay of $300 per day during onboarding. Route pay is based on miles, cases, and stops completed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• 6 months commercial driving experience.
• Foodservice distribution industry experience preferred.
• Onboard computer and electronic log system experience (PeopleNet).
• Hand-held POD scanning system experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) on tractor/trailer per DOT regulations.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; report hazards.
• Verify load securement and perform counts; complete required freight paperwork.
• Unload damaged goods and customer returns; finalize paperwork at end of shift.
• Maintain daily logs and hours of service as required by DOT and company policies.
• Uphold safety standards and proper handling of freight during delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned; support team operations.
