Job summary

Companions & Homemakers HCA #2052 in Connecticut seeks a Scheduling Coordinator who serves as the primary contact for clients and caregivers in the region, coordinating timely caregiver placements and supervising staff to uphold quality care.

This role requires strong communication, EMR proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple schedules in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment with some remote work and in-office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communications.
• Ability to work with a wide range of personalities in a diverse environment.
• Experience handling scheduling in homecare or healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize client schedules and complete tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Coordinate new client referrals to ensure timely staffing and update leadership.
• Ensure caregiver schedules promote consistency and stay within budget.
• Investigate and resolve client scheduling concerns with supervisor.
• Document interactions in the EMR and keep information up to date.
• Collaborate with state care managers to update client care needs.
