Job summary

Caregiver, Inc. is seeking a Senior Area Director to provide hands-on leadership across residential and day program services. This field-based role oversees compliance, quality outcomes, and operational performance while mentoring Area Directors and Day Program Managers.

The role requires regular on-site visits, travel within assigned markets, and a strong focus on person-centered services. Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Healthcare, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year direct experience supporting individuals with IDD.
• 3–5 years progressive leadership experience.
• Experience with person-centered planning, IPPs, or PDPs preferred.
• Experience participating in regulatory surveys or inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional strategy and growth initiatives with cross-functional partners.
• Mentor Area Directors and Day Program Managers to strengthen leadership.
• Oversee monthly site visits, safety compliance, and policy adherence.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, payroll accuracy, and turnover reduction.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new hires with effective orientation.
• Coordinate IDT meetings and incident follow-up to drive outcomes.
• Collaborate with QA, HR, Clinical, and Operations to ensure quality care.
