Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Regional Sales Director for the Cardiac Rhythm Management team in Southern California (San Diego/Orange County/Long Beach/Inland Empire). This role is remote in the US and leads CRM sales strategy, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration to hit franchise goals.

You will travel up to 50%+, recruit and develop sales and clinical staff, ensure compliant, high-quality customer outcomes, and drive forecasts and budgets while advancing regional initiatives and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in Tachycardia/Bradycardia product areas or related CRM sales.
• Proven sales and clinical performance in cardiology/cardiovascular field.
• Ability to lead workstreams and initiatives with critical thinking.
• Direct reports management and performance monitoring in a quality system environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct regional CRM sales activities to meet objectives and franchise goals.
• Coach and develop territory managers and clinical specialists for performance.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, and development of sales and clinical staff.
• Coordinate with marketing, training, and enterprise accounts for strategy.
• Prepare regional forecasts and manage budget and expenses.
• Ensure compliance, vendor credentialing, and safe clinical coaching.
