Job summary

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is seeking an Area Director to lead and oversee a ministry team fostering witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow Jesus on college campuses. You will guide staff, students, and faculty through Scripture, prayer and discipleship to advance the mission nationwide.

The role emphasizes developing ministry plans, recruiting ministers, and modeling InterVarsity Core Values while traveling between campuses and working in partnership with national

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum three years campus ministry or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to communicate spiritual vision and disciple.
• Ability to develop and lead a team of campus ministers.
• Strong interpersonal skills with diverse communities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

• Spiritual Growth and relationship with God through Scripture, prayer, and worship.
• Campus Ministry Leadership and vision casting for teams.
• Recruit diverse minister candidates and develop staff on campuses.
• Supervise ministers and coach staff to achieve ministry tasks.
• Collaborate across racial, ethnic, and background divides to build teams.
