InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA seeks an Area Director to lead a ministry team, plant witnessing communities on campuses, and grow partnerships with students, faculty, and staff. The role emphasizes spiritual growth, leadership development, and cross-campus collaboration across NJ, PA, or DE.

The position supports a nationwide mission and regional strategies. The Area Director will guide staff and students through Scripture, prayer, and discipleship, while ensuring financial stewardship

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum three years campus ministry or equivalent work experience required.
• Strong ministry and leadership skills to communicate vision and disciple teams.
• Proven ability to work well with others and develop a team of campus ministers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Spiritual Growth and a vibrant relationship with God through Scripture, prayer, and worship.
• Campus Ministry Leadership and oversight of ministry teams.
• Develop and implement plans to achieve ministry goals and adjust as needed.
• Recruit ministers and develop them professionally for leadership and impact.
• Build healthy partnerships across staff, volunteers, and donors.
