InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA seeks an Area Director to lead ministry teams planting and growing witnessing communities on campuses. You will recruit and supervise staff, develop ministers, and manage partnerships with regional and national leaders. The role involves travel to campuses and fundraising to support salary and ministry initiatives, with a strong emphasis on vision and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum three years campus ministry or equivalent work experience.
• Strong ministry skills: vision, teaching, program planning and mentoring.
• Proven ability to work well with others and develop a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills with diverse ethnic communities and faculty.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Familiarity with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheet software.

Responsabilités

• Spiritual Growth: nurture relationship with God through Scripture, prayer and worship.
• Campus Ministry Leadership: lead staff, students and faculty through Scripture, prayer, teaching and discipleship.
• Visionary Guide: develop vision and goals for campuses and lead teams toward them.
• Structural Architect: plan and implement ministry structures and programs.
• Missional Developer: recruit ministers and develop their gifts and spiritual maturity.
• Region & Partnership: collaborate with regional and national leaders; develop ministry partnerships.
• Administrative leadership: establish systems for reporting, finances, HR and operations.
