Job summary

A key political organization in Ohio is seeking a Regional Organizing Director to manage and mentor Organizers. The role demands strong communication skills and a focus on developing effective organizing strategies for upcoming elections. The successful candidate will ensure teams are equipped to meet ambitious goals and will facilitate relationships with community partners. This includes travel across Ohio to support staff. Competitive salary of $5,750/month plus benefits offered. This role ends on November 15, 2026.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Organizing experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong familiarity with VAN and other organizing tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel within Ohio.
• Experience managing paid staff is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and manage a team of Organizers.
• Support the hiring, onboarding, and development of Organizing staff.
• Monitor progress toward campaign goals.
• Help build relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
• Assist in planning and executing campaign events.
