Opportunity for TRAVEL and HYBRID work environment! Our team is always growing and looking for highly motivated, focused, and determined leaders to join our success. BrightSpring's corporate office is based in Louisville, KY, with offices in 47 states. As a Regional Business Office Manager, you will have the opportunity to work remotely while traveling as needed to support multiple locations in your designated region. Our Regional Business Office Managers provide oversight, training, support, and consulting on monthly functions based on business regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Revenue Management and Accounts Receivable for designated operations, including revenue recognition, collection practices, revenue analysis, adjustments, and journal entries.
- Assist Business Office Managers with month-end close processes, weekly revenue recognition, AR reports review, and reporting submissions.
- Provide training on all business functions including A/R, A/P, Payroll, Purchase Card, and Client Funds Management.
- Train Business Office Managers or coordinate with Support Center personnel for training needs.
- Assist with collection efforts as necessary.
- Help resolve policy or procedural deficiencies identified within business support functions.
- Develop and implement action plans for business function deficiencies.
- Ensure monthly AR reports are reviewed by BOM and operations.
- Verify Petty Cash, Resident Funds, and PCards are managed according to policies.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams on special projects.
- Support operations during internal and external audits.
- Attend monthly AR meetings, SVP calls, quarterly round tables, and other meetings.
- Assist operations with interim support plans during BOM vacancies or as needed.
- Complete and submit workflow updates to supervisors.
- Support the BOM and Executive Director in hiring Business Office Managers, including screening, hiring, coaching, and development.
- Practice resource conservation and financial stewardship.
- Implement best practices across operations to standardize business processes.
- Comply with all laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Maintain technical competencies relevant to job responsibilities.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure revenue reports are used effectively to maintain Medicaid eligibility and service authorizations.
- Conduct orientation for new Business Office Managers per company guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a healthcare business environment.
- At least two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to travel 50-75% within your designated region.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Ability to analyze reports and identify gaps or inefficiencies.
- Leadership skills to guide and motivate teams, uphold company culture, mission, and values.
- Approach all duties with a friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
