Job summary

Van Buren Intermediate School District is seeking a Bridge Team Consultant for the Hartford/Decatur region. The role supports Local Educational Agencies with individualized supports to maintain a safe, positive environment and expands services; provides professional development to teach best practices.

Responsibilities include traveling across the county, collaborating with Special Services, and leading educators to develop and implement functional behavior assessments and positive behavior

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Michigan certificate or license in special education or related area.
• Minimum of three years of experience in the field; experience with consulting and ABA knowledge preferred.
• Experience in CPI training, TEACCH, START, and ABA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Local Educational Agencies in providing individualized supports.
• Provide professional development/learning to teach best practices.
• Travel across the county to provide service and access professional learning.
• Lead and collaborate with teams to develop functional behavior assessments and positive behavior support plans.
