Job Goal(s):

The primary job goal of the Bridge Consultant is to assist Local Educational Agencies in providingindividualized supports to maintain a safe, positive, and effective environment for all students.Through this collaboration, school programs should increase in effectiveness by expanding thecontinuum of services offered to students. TheBridge Consultant will also provide professionaldevelopment/learning to teach best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education :

Master’s degreerequired

Certification:

Michigan certificate or license in special education or relataed area

Work Experience :

Minimum of three years' experience in the field. Experience consulting, CPI training, TEACCH, START, and ABA knowledge and experience is preferred.

Terms of Employment:As per master agreement and provisions established by the Van Buren Board of Education.
