Job summary

Brainlab, Inc. is seeking a field-based Technical Support professional in Tampa to assist physicians and OR staff, optimize Brainlab IGS product use during surgery, and drive clinical outcomes and user satisfaction.

The role requires 1–3 years in healthcare tech support, familiarity with surgical procedures, and the ability to travel 50%+. Competitive compensation includes medical, dental, life, disability coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a technical support role in healthcare.
• 1–2 years minimum sales experience with healthcare company preferred
• Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy and medical terminology preferred
• Proficient in the use of PC software applications including Microsoft Office
• Self-motivated, detail oriented and a proven history of ability to make independent decisions

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site consulting and guidance to physicians and OR personnel during surgery to maximize Brainlab product efficiency and usage.
• Manage and maintain install base, including basic 3rd party integrations.
• Analyze and resolve product issues for Brainlab systems via Salesforce with detailed analysis and documentation.
• Educate/train physicians and hospital personnel on the use of Image Guided Surgery products and services.
• Develop training programs for hospital staff enabling in-house training.
• Attend meetings and trade shows to demonstrate Brainlab products and services.
