Corewell Health is seeking a Bereavement Program Coordinator to support perinatal, infant, and pediatric loss across multiple hospital locations in the Corewell Health East region. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in health-related, social work or spiritual care field.
• 2 years of relevant experience working with bereaved families in a health care setting.
• Preferred advanced degrees in bereavement/Thanatology or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support to bereaved families in a family-centered care environment.
• Lead monitoring, oversight and record keeping of all deaths at Corewell Health sites.
• Assist in aggregate case data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Serve as core training faculty for CH system staff.
• Contribute to development of bereavement standards and procedures across CH sites.
• Review and develop bereavement policies and maintain program structure.
