Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of bereavement counseling experience in a clinical setting.
• Current licensure as an RN (BSN) or Social Worker (LCSW), or chaplaincy/grief counseling certification.
• Experience coordinating bereavement programs and educating staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate bereavement programs and events for the facility or service line.
• Provide counseling and psychosocial assessments for grieving families.
• Maintain bereavement database, prepare reports and coordinate with care teams.
• Educate and train program staff, volunteers, and community members.
