Securian Financial Group is seeking a Regional Sales Director to drive growth across our employee benefits portfolio. You will own territory strategy, develop channel partnerships, and manage end-to-end sales cycles in a consultative, multi-product environment.

The role involves collaboration with internal teams, effective presentations, and a willingness to travel up to 50% to serve Midwest clients including Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan.

Qualificações

• Proven successful sales experience within employee benefits or a complex B2B environment.
• Ability to generate and secure sales within mid-to-large employer markets and manage complex cycles.
• Broad knowledge of Life, AD&D, and Voluntary Benefits; Disability and Absence Solutions is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building with channel partners and employers.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.

Responsabilidades

• Own and execute the territory sales strategy across multiple benefits lines.
• Develop and expand channel partner relationships within the territory and create new opportunities.
• Manage the sales process from prospecting to close, including RFPs and proposals.
• Apply a consultative, multi-product approach to meet employer needs and position solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive solutions and navigate complex opportunities.
• Maintain Salesforce data and use insights to prioritize activity and improve performance.
