Job summary

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) at NET Centers supports children and adolescents in a school-based program through one-on-one ABA-informed interventions as prescribed in individual treatment plans. The role involves collaboration with the Behavior Consultant and Mobile Therapist to pursue medically necessary goals and maintain detailed progress notes.

Required qualifications include BCaBA/RBT/BCAT or equivalent certification, or HS Diploma with 40 hours of RBT training, plus 2 years ABA

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification includes BCaBA/RBT/BCAT or equivalent certification.
• Alternative is HS Diploma/GED with 40h RBT training or 2 years ABA with 40h ABA training.
• Experience in a mental health setting preferred.
• Adult and Pediatric CPR Certification Required.
• PA Child Abuse Clearance and PA Mandated Reporter Training Required.
• FBI and PA Criminal Clearances Required.
• Health Assessment and TB Test Required.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with children/adolescents to implement BHT interventions per ITP.
• Coordinate with Behavior Consultant and Mobile Therapist and other staff.
• Maintain clinical records documenting progress toward goals.
• Meet licensing and NET policy training/supervision requirements.
• Assign to cases based on availability or program needs.
