Job summary

Truist is seeking a Regional President II to lead the largest region with responsibility for Commercial Banking, Middle Market, Not-for-Profit and Government segments. You will drive growth, client experience, and risk management while coordinating with Credit, Operations, Treasury, and other partners to deliver a consistent Truist client experience.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher, 10+ years in banking leadership, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or related training.
• 10+ years of bank lending experience in Commercial, Middle Market, or Corporate & Investment Banking.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing large teams and cross-functional partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; often represent Truist region at events.
• Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.

Responsibilities

• Owns sales management for the region, driving accountability and results.
• Oversees regional profitability and expense management to maximize returns.
• Ensures a differentiated client experience by integrating Bank partners and go-to-market strategies.
• Manages HR aspects, staffing, performance coaching, and development within the region.
• Represents Truist to Executive Leadership and external stakeholders.
