Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is hiring a Regional Safety/Security Manager to oversee regional safety, security, and compliance programs. You will coach locations, ensure TSA/FAA/CBP/OSHA alignment, and interact with government agencies to uphold high standards across cargo, passenger, and ramp operations.

Excellent knowledge of safety regulations and strong reporting, communication, and auditing skills are essential. U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; further education in airline safety/security is a plus.
• Two years’ or equivalent experience in airline/cargo safety or security operations.
• Experience with CCTV and related tech; knowledge of reporting and emergency planning.
• Working knowledge of TSA, CBP, OSHA and FAA regulations; U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with station management on emerging safety and security concerns.
• Document and submit regional reports to Directors of Safety, Security.
• Meet airline/airport reps for safety/security related issues as needed.
• Travel to respond to accidents/incidents as directed by Regional Safety or Security Directors.
• Assist and coach stations to complete required inspections and audits as mandated.
• Verify stations complete all reports required by government agencies.
• Attend and facilitate safety and security meetings with managers and operations.
• Create incident reports for management on regional safety status.
• Compile data to assist Directors of Safety/ Security for process improvements.
• Perform independent station audits focusing on safety, security, and quality.
• Ensure Site-Specific Safety and Security Plans are up to date and compliant.
• Assist on special projects and other duties as required.
