Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior claims adjusting experience preferred.
• Insurance adjuster license may be required in some states.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and determine liability for auto physical damage claims.
• Provide estimates and negotiate settlements with customers and repair facilities.
• Explain coverage decisions and communicate with Underwriting as needed.
• Coordinate repairs, rentals, and storage management for open claims.
• Maintain ownership of the claim with limited supervision and act as primary contact.
