Job summary

Farmers Group Inc. is seeking a Field Property Claims Adjuster in the Minneapolis/St Paul area. You will conduct on-site and virtual investigations to assess property damage, determine liability, and write fair settlements.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills and familiarity with claims software. A hybrid work arrangement is available for local candidates, with travel for field visits as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Construction or Insurance experience is highly desirable and preferred.
• Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site and virtual investigations to assess property damage and liability.
• Use claims software, company car, and laptop to write estimates in a paperless environment.
• Evaluate and report subrogation opportunities and settlements.
• Interact with policyholders, claimants, agents, and witnesses to resolve claims.
