Qualifications

• Experience in asset management or inventory control.
• Ability to use Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.
• Ability to train others in asset management functions.
• Knowledge of agency policies and procedures.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in asset management.

Responsibilities

• Daily, weekly, monthly coordination with asset management staff to complete tasks and reports.
• Review asset requisitions and purchase orders for correct asset coding.
• Analyze asset processes and implement approved changes to improve operations.
• Prepare and present asset management reports showing key measures and inventory status.
• Assist management in reducing risk and recommending policy improvements.
• Coordinate statewide inventory spot checks and update asset records.
• Serve as subject matter expert and train program contacts.
