Job summary

CentiMark Corporation is seeking a Regional Area Marketer for the Mid-Atlantic Division including Richmond, VA; Jessup, MD; Baltimore, MD; Washington, DC; Hyattsville, MD; Sandston, VA. This role supports the Regional Sales team in marketing roofing services throughout the region.

Designed as a minimum (2) year program, the goal is to place you into a future Sales or Technical Representative role within the company. Pay rate is $20/hr - $22/hr with commission potential for developed leads.

Qualifications

• Past sales or marketing experience is preferred.
• Travel within the Region, including overnight stays, as needed.
• Be able to lift objects up to 60 lbs., ascend ladders and work at elevated positions.
• Strong time management, organization and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research potential customers and perform cold calls to target clients.
• Market CentiMark’s features and success stories via LinkedIn and X.
• Introduce prospects to CentiMark’s services and benefits.
• Schedule appointments for intro calls and meetings with prospects.
• Organize events for each office and support Top 50 target accounts.
• Assist regional sales with marketing and proposal processes.
• Join networking groups (BOMA, NAIOP, IFMA) to promote offerings.
• Participate in trade shows aligned with the customer profile.
• Coordinate marketing with Regional Reps and National Accounts teams.
• Hit monthly activity targets set by regional sales management.

Job description

CentiMark Corporation, the nation’s largest Commercial/Industrial roofing company, is seeking a Regional Area Marketer for its Mid-Atlantic Division including Richmond VA, Jessup MD, Baltimore MD, Washington DC, Hyattsville MD, Sandston, VA.

This role offers pay rate of $20/hr - $22/hr with opportunity for commission for developedleads.

This is a Sales/Marketing position that will support the Regional Sales team in marketing our roofing services throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. It is designed to be a minimum (2) year program, with the goal of placing his individual into a future Sales or Technical Representative role within the company. The role will be managed directly by the Regional Manager for the Region.

Job Summary:

• Research potential customers and performing cold calls on targeted potential clients


• Market CentiMark’s features, benefits and success stories through such platforms as LinkedIn and X (Twitter)


• Introducing prospects to CentiMark’s features and benefits


• Call to prospect and set appointments for intro calls and meetings


• Organize customer and prospecting events for each office in the Midwest Region


• Follow up on old as well as existing proposals with clients and prospects


• Assist the Regional Sales Team with their Top 50 Target Account efforts


• Research market dynamics and industries to help form effective marketing programs


• Join and get involved in appropriate networking organizations such as BOMA, NAIOP, IFMA, Hospital Engineering, etc. in order to market/highlight our unique service offering


• Organize and participate in select trade shows that fit our customer profile


• Learn and participate in CentiMark’s estimating and proposal writing programs


• Perform joint calls with various Regional Sales staff


• Coordinate marketing efforts with Regional Reps and National Accounts team as appropriate to target and develop new Opportunities/Customers for each


• Attain monthly activity goals set by regional sales management


• Learn and gain proficiency in all responsibilities associated with a regional sales role


• Work with the Regional Rep on possible targets in an effort to grow our Regional Account business

Candidate Requirements:

• Past sales or marketing experience is preferred


• Perform travel (including overnight) as needed within the Region


• Be able to lift objects up to 60 lbs., ascend ladders and perform work at elevated positions


• Must show a positive work ethic and the ability to work within a team environment


• Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is needed


• Must be well organized with solid time management skills.
