Jobtailor is seeking a Lead Maintenance Manager to oversee multi-site maintenance operations across six local sites, driving reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.

You will coach and develop maintenance teams, manage conveyors, robotics, sortation and automated handling systems, travel between sites as needed, and coordinate with site leadership to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Multi-site maintenance leadership experience is required.
Experience with conveyors, robotics, sortation, or automated material handling systems is required.
3+ years of people-management experience with coaching, KPIs, and accountability.
Willingness and ability to travel between multiple assigned sites.

Responsibilities

Lead maintenance operations across six local sites; travel between locations as needed.
Manage, coach, and develop maintenance teams to drive accountability and performance.
Oversee maintenance of conveyors, robotics, sortation, automated material-handling systems, and related equipment.
Drive preventive and corrective maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Monitor KPIs, work orders, backlog, downtime, and other maintenance metrics.
Partner with site leadership, clients, vendors, and maintenance teams to resolve issues and improve operations.
Promote a strong safety culture through training, audits, and accountability.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Work on site daily Monday to Friday, with one site per day required and all locations visited at least once a week.
Engage with both day and evening shifts.

Requirements

Multi-site maintenance management experience
Industrial maintenance leadership experience
Experience with conveyors, robotics, automated material handling, sortation, or similar industrial automation
3+ years of people-management experience, including coaching, KPIs, and accountability
Either a 4-year degree AND 3 years of people-management experience, OR 5 years of people-management experience in lieu of a 4-year degree
Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance
Ability to travel between multiple assigned sites
Background in conveyors, robotics, automated equipment, sortation, or high-volume distribution/fulfillment maintenance
