Job summary

First Citizens is seeking an Area Executive to drive financial performance and growth across the Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota footprint. The role leads branch banking teams, builds strategic regional sales plans, and partners with Retail, Business, Commercial and Corporate lines to achieve profitability and client acquisition goals.

The position may be based at any First Citizens office within the footprint, with strong emphasis on leadership, risk management, and strategic execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years in Commercial, Business or Retail Banking.
• High School Diploma or GED with 14+ years in relevant banking sectors.
• Experience leading banking teams, driving growth, and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop banking leaders to hit market goals and grow revenue.
• Promote a client-focused sales culture across Retail, Business, Commercial, and Corporate banking teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain strong risk controls.
