Job summary

University of the Pacific's Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy seeks an Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor, Regional Coordinator in San Jose.

This full-time, non-tenure track role oversees the APPE program in the San Jose region and supports student learning through clinical supervision and select didactic teaching. The candidate must be a California-licensed pharmacist (or eligible within one year), hold a Pharm.D.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. with PGY1 residency or fellowship or equivalent experience.
• California Pharmacist license or eligibility within one year of hire.
• Strong ambulatory or acute care pharmacy background.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the APPE program in the San Jose region; supervise experiential rotations.
• Precept APPE rotations and teach selected didactic courses.
• Facilitate interprofessional education and coordinate regional conferences.
• Advise students in the region and provide clinical services and preceptor support.
