Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking an Agent/Investigator in Asset Protection for Orange County, CA. The role focuses on executing AP programs, conducting investigations, and training store personnel to deter theft and improve controls.

Responsibilities include audits, surveillance, and coordinating with law enforcement on ORC cases, while supporting store leaders and regional AP teams. Remote work is permitted nationwide with travel to Focus Stores as needed.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred.
• 2+ years of Asset Protection, multi-location experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work nights, evenings and weekends to retail needs.
• Background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Execute Asset Protection initiatives across 5–10 stores; lead shortage reduction programs in high shrink locations.
• Provide in-person and remote support to local management to meet AP objectives.
• Conduct operational audits focusing on sales floor, stockroom, safety, HR compliance, and customer service.
• Travel monthly to Focus Stores and manage Focus Store program adherence.
• Train store personnel on AP initiatives, safety guidelines, and crisis protocols.
• Maintain professional, data-driven investigations for inventory loss, cash loss, and policy violations.
• Prepare case reports and manage initial investigative processes within the district.
