Job summary

Airbus Americas is seeking an Airbus Operating System (AOS) Expert to join our Operational Excellence team in Mobile, AL. You will develop lean standards and drive performance improvements across manufacturing operations.

As Senior AOS Expert, you will coach leaders, lead Kaizen workshops, and advance AOS digitalization, with travel across North America as needed. A engineering degree and 10–15 years of operations lean experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coach the Senior Leadership Team, Operations Management Team, and local AOS teams (+20 employees).
• Act as the primary Senior Expert on AOS content for Airbus Americas and represent AOS Central (Europe).
• Advise site leadership on performance improvement opportunities, governance management, and regional performance reviews.
• Lead industrial maturity assessments across the regional scope and formulate strategic recommendations.
• Design, facilitate, and lead training programs and Kaizen workshops in a train-the-trainer mode across North America.
• Support AOS digitalization solutions and drive mid- to long-term strategic lean initiatives.
