Job summary

Airbus Americas is seeking an Airbus Operating System (AOS) Expert to lead lean transformation initiatives within our Operational Excellence team based in Mobile, AL. You will drive standardized lean principles, address performance gaps, and guide regional AOS deployment across North America.

As Senior Expert on AOS, you will coach executives, design workshops, and sponsor sustainable improvements while aligning with Airbus global standards and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in operations management within a best-in-class lean manufacturing environment.
• Professional certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, Kepner-Tregoe, or APICS are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coach the Senior Leadership Team (SVPs and VPs) and Operations Management Team.
• Act as the primary Senior Expert on AOS content for Airbus Americas.
• Advise site leadership on performance improvement opportunities, governance, and regional reviews.
• Lead industrial maturity assessments and formulate strategic recommendations.
• Design, facilitate, and lead training programs and Kaizen workshops across North America.
