Job summary

Nationwide Financial is seeking a Regional Wholesaler for the Annuity team, covering Pittsburgh, Erie, and surrounding areas. You will market annuity products through banks, wire houses and independent broker dealers, and train financial advisors on all aspects of the annuity business.

The role requires five years wholesale experience, FINRA Series 6/7 and 63, and licenses for life/annuity; strong interpersonal and presentation skills; MS Office and Siebel CRM.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in business, finance, communications or liberal arts preferred.
• Five years wholesale experience in financial services through broker dealer firms.
• FINRA Series 6 or 7, Series 63, State Life/Annuity licenses required; CFP/CLU/ChFC designations preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written skills; strong group presentation ability.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and connects with financial advisors to promote annuity products and services.
• Assists financial advisors in identifying prospects and educating them on annuity business.
• Coordinates with specialists on cross-selling, referrals and joint meetings.
• Conducts training at local financial institution offices to market products.
• Provides field support and expertise to producers including client visits.
