Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking a Regional Analytics Analyst at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, NY, with responsibilities across additional units. You will analyze transactional sales data, build Tableau dashboards, and deliver KPI reporting to drive revenue and operational excellence.

You’ll partner with clients and operators, translate insights into action plans, and collaborate with IT on data architecture while supporting strategic initiatives and market opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, engineering, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years in business analytics or BI in high-volume environment; hospitality or sports preferred.
• Strong proficiency in analytics and predictive modeling tools such as Advanced Excel, R, or similar platforms.
• Experience with data warehousing and SQL querying.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing, in-depth analysis to uncover actionable insights from transactional sales data.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools in Tableau to support performance reporting and KPI tracking.
• Partner with clients and operators to understand core business needs and develop strategic action plans.
• Collaborate with clients’ analytics teams to align reporting and drive data-informed decisions.
• Prepare presentations and dashboards communicating findings and recommendations.
• Support data architecture and warehousing efforts to maximize data usability.
• Assist in development of value-added programs and processes that strengthen client relationships.
• Collaborate with IT on technology implementations, including POS systems.
• Work with sales, marketing, and operations to share best practices and drive performance.
• Support the analytics and insights leadership with ad hoc projects.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
