**REGIONAL AGRONOMY MANAGER****Northwest Minnesota / Eastern North Dakota**A progressive plant nutrition company is seeking an experienced **Regional Agronomy Manager** to develop and grow its business throughout Northwest Minnesota and Eastern North Dakota. This is a home office based position offering an excellent opportunity for an agronomy professional who enjoys working directly with growers and agricultural retailers while building and managing a successful sales territory.The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of crop production, agronomy, and plant nutrition, along with the ability to develop relationships, identify new business opportunities, and drive sales growth. This individual must be self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and able to effectively communicate the value and proper positioning of products to both growers and retail customers.**RESPONSIBILITIES*** Manage sales of value-added seed, soil, and crop plant nutrition products throughout the assigned territory* Develop and execute an annual sales plan to meet or exceed established sales goals and company objectives* Develop new business while growing and maintaining existing customer accounts* Build strong, long term relationships with agricultural retailers and growers throughout the territory* Provide product education, training, and support to growers and retail customers* Help customers understand proper product positioning, usage, and potential return on investment* Utilize agronomic knowledge to identify opportunities and recommend solutions based on customer and crop needs* Introduce and promote new products and services within the territory* Prepare and deliver sales presentations and customer proposals* Negotiate effectively and work with customers to develop mutually beneficial business opportunities* Attend trade shows, conventions, conferences, customer meetings, and other industry events as needed* Work closely with sales, marketing, management, and support teams to ensure strong customer service and account support* Assist with training new Regional Agronomy/Account Managers as needed* Independently manage territory travel, customer needs, scheduling, and sales priorities**QUALIFICATIONS*** Associate's degree in Agriculture or a related agricultural field required; Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or a related field preferred* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in agricultural sales and/or agronomy* Strong knowledge of crop production and agronomy, with plant nutrition experience* Proven ability to develop new business and achieve or exceed sales goals* Experience selling and introducing agricultural products or services* Strong understanding of farming practices, agricultural markets, and industry trends* Excellent relationship building, customer service, and negotiation skills* Strong verbal and written communication and presentation abilities* Self motivated, organized, results driven, and able to work independently from a home office* Ability to prospect for new customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts* Strong analytical and problem solving skills* Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative sales and marketing team* Proficient with Microsoft Office* Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required**POSITION DETAILS*** Home office based position* Territory includes Northwest Minnesota and Eastern North Dakota* Candidate must reside within the assigned territory; relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates willing to relocate* Approximately 30%-40% travel, with some evening and weekend commitments* Permanent, full-time position* Reports to the Manager of Sales* No direct reports**COMPENSATION & BENEFITS*** $100,000-$135,000 annual base salary, depending on experience* Annual commission* Employer-paid Life, AD&D, Dependent Life, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Dental, and Vision insurance* Medical insurance with employer and employee contributions* 401(k) with employer match up to 5% of salary* Three weeks paid vacation* Company vehicle with maintenance and fuel paid by company* Company-paid cell phone plan* $100/month internet allowance* Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates**WHAT THE EMPLOYER IS LOOKING FOR**The employer is looking for a motivated, positive, and relationship-driven individual who enjoys getting out in the territory, meeting people, and developing business.
