Job summary

Lake Superior State University seeks a dynamic Regional Recruiter – Western Upper Peninsula to join our Admissions & Marketing team. Based remotely in the Western UP, this role recruits and enrolls prospective undergraduate students from the region.

Travel to campus monthly and frequent regional events are required to strengthen relationships with schools and organizations. The position emphasizes outreach, advising, and collaboration with the Admissions team to meet enrollment targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required; field relevant to admissions/marketing preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in admissions, recruitment, or related field.
• Experience with CRM systems and outreach strategies.
• Knowledge of regional secondary schools and higher education institutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary admissions representative for the assigned regional territory.
• Recruit freshmen, transfers, and nontraditional students via high school visits, college fairs, and events.
• Build and maintain relationships with counselors, advisors, alumni, and community organizations to promote LSSU.
• Conduct advising sessions, presentations, and information sessions for students and families.
