Job summary

Northwestern University is seeking an assistant director of admission to drive regional recruitment and evaluate first‑year and transfer applicants. You will manage a regional territory, plan outreach, and lead information sessions in person and online for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year degree and 1-3 years in admission/recruiting.
• Proven administration, project management, customer service, and event coordination skills.
• Ability to travel frequently by plane and lift materials up to 20 pounds.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Excellent writing, editing and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a regional recruitment territory and develop outreach plans to meet enrollment goals.
• Lead on-campus information sessions and online recruitment events.
• Review and recommend admission decisions for a large applicant pool.
• Handle multiple projects, reporting, and staff supervision within a functional-area portfolio.
• Undertake reporting and trend analysis to inform strategy and outcomes.
